Nant

At the centre of the distillery is the The Nant Mill.  Built in 1823, it is the only commercially operating water powered flour Mill in Australia and is used to grist the barley in our whisky production process. In the age old tradition of cask maturation, casks are stored on the estate in historic farm buildings to mature in an environment of quietude and tranquillity. The result is a single malt whisky that truly captures the essence of the pristine Tasmanian highlands from which it has been created.
