Famous Grouse

Glenturret single malt is used to create The Famous Grouse blends. Nothing has ever been ordinary about Glenturret. Since its origins among the smugglers and illicit stills of the 18th Century, Scotland's oldest distillery has had a singular life. Matthew Gloag (the grandson of the original Mathew Gloag) takes over the family business. He decided to enter the flourishing market of house- labelled blended whisky. He chooses the apt name 'Grouse Brand' and his daughter Philippa sketched the red grouse which was to become the trade mark label for the blend.
